2 Natural Remedies To Remove Blackheads

Are you sick of seeing blackheads on your face, but cannot seem to find a way to get rid of them? Here are two different methods you can try at home to help you get rid of them for good!

Baking soda

One of the cheapest and most effective methods for eliminating blackheads is using baking soda. One of the reasons why baking soda works well for blackhead removal is because it is an abrasive, and when you use it on your skin, it helps eliminate dirt and dead skin. Because of this, it helps open up your pores, and this is what is needed if you want to get rid of the blackheads. While there are many ways to use baking soda for this purpose, here is a method that works great:

  • Make a paste of baking soda and water – You can begin by placing several tablespoons of baking soda into a small cup. Add one teaspoon of water and mix. Continue adding water until you have a consistency of a spreadable paste.
  • Rub the paste on your skin – As you do this, focus on the areas that contain the blackheads. Leave this on your skin for up to 10 minutes.
  • Wash off the paste – Finally, remove the baking soda mixture by using warm water. As you do this, make circular motions with your fingers. This will help clean the skin, and it will also help you remove the mixture from your skin.

You can repeat this process daily if desired, but you may only want to use it weekly if it irritates your skin in any way.

Tomatoes

The second method you can try uses tomatoes. Tomatoes are known for being highly acidic, and this acid can actually be helpful for removing blackheads. First, you will need to mash up one small tomato. After doing this, rub the juice from the tomato on the areas of skin that contain blackheads.

After rubbing it in, let it dry and leave it there for a few hours, or overnight. The best time to do this is before bed so that you can sleep with the tomato juice on your face. The tomato juice should help open your pores and dry out any blackheads that you have.

The next morning, you can wash your face with warm water and the blackheads might easily rub right off your face.
