These can make your use of a hookah far more enjoyable and consistent, without setting you back too much. Here are three common hookah accessories that you need to get on top of before you get to your next session.

Smoke Diffuser

It is truly astonishing how many people do not use a smoke diffuser in their hookah. This tiny, cheap addition can turn your hookah experience from uneven at best to smooth and easy to use every single time you try it. A smoke diffuser makes sure that the smoke is reduced in size so that the cooling process works far better on it without actually having to upgrade any major parts of your hookah. You can spend hundreds of dollars on expensive hookahs that still will not compete with a simple smoke diffuser, so you have to at least try it once. 

Multiple Hoses

Having one hose for your hookah is generally not enough if you want to get the most out of your pipe, especially if you have had this hose for a long time. Owning multiple hoses might not seem like a big deal, but it means you do not get a build-up of flavor or other, nastier elements that can affect the taste. You should also be looking for hoses made of stronger material than the sometimes cheaply made ones that come with budget variety hookahs. A strong, reusable hose that is waterproof and can be rinsed between uses is essential to an enjoyable experience.

Tongs

Everyone has seen at least one person try to move the coals around in a hookah with their bare hands. There is no excuse for letting someone injure themselves when there is an easy solution: hookah tongs. These are built to reach into your hookah and adjust the placement of the coals to make sure they are placed properly to get the most out of them as well as perhaps to add in some new ones when the old burn out. Never burn your little fingers again with a good pair of hookah tongs.
